Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Softnue handles personal data in OdoSelf.

1. Data we collect

• Account data for rental businesses and their staff: name, email, phone, business details and login records.
• Billing data: plans bought, invoices and payment references. Card, UPI and bank details are handled by our payment processor Razorpay and are never stored by us.
• Data businesses enter about their customers: names, contact details, identity and driving-licence documents, bookings, vehicle and trip records, photos and damage reports. For this data the rental business decides how it is used (it is the data fiduciary) and we process it on its behalf.

2. How we use it

• To provide, secure and support the Service, and to send service emails such as receipts, plan reminders and password resets.
• To meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
• We do not sell personal data, and we do not use customer documents for anything other than the Service.

3. Sharing

We share data only with providers needed to run the Service (hosting, email delivery, payment processing through Razorpay and, when a business uses them, verification services) or when required by law.

4. Security and retention

• Data is sent over HTTPS. Identity documents are stored privately and can only be opened by logged-in staff of the business they belong to.
• We keep data while an account is active, and afterwards for as long as legal and accounting rules require. Businesses can ask us to delete their data when they close their account.

5. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct or delete your personal data, or withdraw consent, by writing to us. If you are a customer of a rental business, please contact that business first; we will help them respond. You can also raise a grievance with our grievance officer at the email address below, and we respond within 30 days.
